Wewould like to officially introduce the first actiivty in EME from Djibouti “J28MD EME project“.
We will be taking a complete EME 2M setup with me on our DXpedition and will be run 2M EME QSOs. The EME setup contains:
- RIG: FT-857D
- PA: 1000 W PHOENIX 1000 RFP
- ANT: 1x 2M12 M2 Antenna systems
- BPF Antennas-Amplifiers
- SP-2 SUPER-AMP preamplifier
- Dell NB, WIN 11 with MSHV & WSJT-X
- MODE: JT65B

Moon here was very low (12 degr) and I had a LOT of noise from solar panels, even in the dark.You are a great operator, also on HF CW, where we worked earlier today.

Sorry to say but I had same problem as PA5Y mentions here..

All of my 8 QSO’s were correct in the online log, including 2m EME !
