Mission 100k QSOs: When Murphy’s Law Strikes, Passion Always Wins! Dear everyone, the team is finally back home. The bags are still unpacked, but one thing is for sure: it was a heart-pounding adventure! Let’s address the elephant in the room right away: our ambitious target of 100,000 QSOs wasn’t reached this time. But before we draw any final conclusions, let us tell you what really went down—because Lady Luck (and Murphy’s Law) definitely decided to join the party! Right out of the gate, we lost our entire first day. As if that wasn’t enough, days two and three turned into a technical support marathon to resolve a endless series of electrical and connectivity issues. And to top it all off, we had to deal with continuous power blackouts throughout our entire active period, leaving us in the dark for hours on end. In short, at times it felt less like an amateur radio expedition and more like a high-stakes survival challenge! We sincerely apologize to all the operators who didn’t manage to get us in their log. However, we can guarantee that we gave it absolutely everything we had: both to deliver that coveted band New One to those chasing it, and to keep you entertained with our Trophy. Speaking of which: so many of you followed it this year, and your incredible enthusiasm made every bit of effort worth it! A huge, heartfelt thank you goes out to the entire team: despite a thousand operational headaches, every single operator dug deep and gave 110%, refusing to back down even an inch. Finally, the biggest thanks goes to all of you. Calling us continuously and filling the airwaves with your energy was an absolute blast. It was a true honor and pleasure to keep the bands alive with you. We’re taking notes on what went wrong, recharging our batteries, and making you one promise: next time, we’ll come back even stronger. Stay tuned!
