We are pleased to announce that also this year our team will be active via QO-100, thanks to the valuable support and commitment of Richard GI4DOH, who will once again make this operation possible.
QO-100 (Es’hail-2) is the first geostationary amateur radio satellite covering Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. Positioned at 25.9° East, it allows continuous, real-time communications through both narrowband and wideband transponders, enabling voice, CW, and digital modes with stable satellite coverage.
Operating via QO-100 provides a unique opportunity for stations within the satellite footprint to work the expedition with reliable signals, independent of HF propagation conditions.
We look forward to meeting many of you on the satellite and sharing another exciting year of contacts through QO-100.
Stay tuned for operating schedules and further details.
