without a minute

We’re still here… without a minute of rest between the antennas and the RX antennas! 😅

Yesterday we put up the BOG for Europe, today it’s Japan and North America. We certainly don’t like to make things easy for ourselves! 🌍📡

Meanwhile, we’re still fighting with our AC power… which is so “alternating” that every now and then it decides to give us well over 300 volts! ⚡😱

And, as you can imagine, it’s leaving us a few little presents: we’re using more fuses than drinking water! 😂

Luckily, we have our patron saint of fuses: IZ2GNQ, who has about 100 of them in his bag! 🙏🔧
And whenever another piece of equipment decides to give up, good old IU3PMA Paco is immediately on the job, patiently and skillfully bringing everything back to life. 💪🔩

But we keep going, between antennas to install, receivers to keep running, generators to tame, and fuses disappearing at an impressive rate!

So, if we disappear from the airwaves from time to time, don’t blame us… we hope by now you understand the difficulties we’re operating under! 😅

But don’t worry: we’re still here, fighting and staying operational! 📡🌍⚡

See you soon… if the power supply allows it! 😂

You were good copy into Iowa Monday morning on 160 meters, starting about an hour before your sunrise. Many from NA were calling you. There might also be enhancement across NA as our sun sets. I noticed such enhancement the night I worked you on 80 meters, just at our sunset. Lets hope for another good night and that your new NA BOG works well. 73, Bill, K0KT

    Hi,
congrats team for ur efforts. Looking for you on low bands but heavy statics crushes on 60/80m.
But hearing you trough this . High bands depends heavy QSB low SFI doesn’t helps…
Work you on 30m but I don’t see my QSO, sure got the RR73 on FT8, do you have all QSO’s logged?

Guys, work on your 160m signal. So low in Europe. Too low for the distance.

Congratulations for excellence under so many dificulties !!

Last night very good sigs in 80m to PY. 12 and 10m could benefit of some azimuth to this area when feasible.

Thanks for the 7 MHz qso at 2000z today. Unfortunately too many DL and other EU stations would not standby, despite your operator asking them to. So you were unable to copy other VK east coast stations like Tony VK3TZ who were calling. 1900z is a better time for working VK east coast as our sunrise is now around 1900z. Great operation from guys – stay safe! Peter VK3QI

Guys, I think you are conducting an extremely nice operation, and I wanted to send you my most heartfelt congratulations.
I am sure it is quite challenging over there, but I hope you are having a nice time too. Your signals are great here in EA, and the operators in your team are just fantastic. I am very glad I have been able to work you in a few bands and modes.

I spent a few years in the East of DRC, and that country holds a very special place in my heart, so hearing you and working you from here has been a very special thrill. Thanks for that. Keep up the good work
